Great shot... On the info it says this was taken on July 14 2007. Is the camera set up with the wrong date or are these left overs from a dead project? Cos so far it's all looked amazing and I'm hoping this film isn't going to evaporate into the ether.

This work was done prior to principal photography, the Film was on hiatus due to the loss of both my parents this past year,i was unable to work on it mentally, through depression, as well as financially due to the recession, but things have picked up once again and were almost done filming, but will be another year or so to complete the numerous FX shots for the film.

I can't wait to see this. Seven Samurai is one of my favorite movies, as well as Star Wars. It was a stroke of genius to combine the two. I tip my hat to you, sir.

It helps that George drew influences from Kurosawa's films when he was first making Star Wars, specifically The Hidden Fortress. While I haven't seen it, I have read that he borrowed certain elements (the two farmers are mirrored by the droids, and there's a princess and an old samurai general).
